After Bob and Jessie mentioned "PopUpisodes" on the last Official Podcast,,I've been (and lots of others) anxiously waiting to see what a PopUpisode is.The wait is over!It's actor info,trivia facts,and pictures popping up while you listen to an Odyssey episode,A Capsule Comes to Town this time.

Well,my guess is that while the Album 50 recap is airing,each of the episodes will be on the blog as PopUpisodes.I think this is a great idea.Can't wait for more!

Hey,AIO fans!Here's a bit of new Odyssey news.

With Album 51 just around the corner,Focus has cooked up a new CD sampler for the show.
It's called Welcome to Whit's End.

"In this Adventures in Odyssey sampler, listeners will learn the background behind some of Odyssey’s favorite characters while anticipating the introduction to two new families in Album 51"

Not only will the CD have 2 original AIO episodes,Let This Mind Be in You and A License to Drive,it will also include a special minisode called Welcome to Whit's End.It will make listeners feel like they're in Odyssey,but also help introduce new listeners to the show and tell old fans what characters are still on.Make sure to preorder it!

Another thing I'd like to share is that a ToO member,Bob Booth,has made an "Interesting Morphation of Odysseys."He has taken clips from the episode from Tuesdays with Wooton into a hilarious segment.Make sure to check it out!

Lamplighter Theatre
A relatively new show, but already has quite a following! LT takes stories from rare and out-of-print books and dramatizes them. The stories are amazing and have very strong spiritual truths. Produced and acted by many of the cast and crew from Adventures in Odyssey & Radio Theatre, these dramas are definitely worth their weight in gold!

If you read the Odyssey Scoop's interview with Marshal Younger you've found out that he will no longer be working on AIO.Sad,huh?

Well,Marshal said he was working on a radio drama called "Lamplighter Theater" The first drama from LT is called Sir Malcolm and The Missing Prince.
There are a lot of people who have worked on AIO on this drama including Jess Harnell,Adam Wylie,John Fornof among others.
I listened to the previews of it and it sounds really exciting.

How do I enter?

1. Answer each of the 5 questions posted on The Odyssey Scoop, AIO Wiki, and The Unofficial Podcast. You must answer at least 10 of the 15 questions correctly in order to move on with the contest. It may be wise to answer all 15 questions.

2. Next, come up with your very own Passages episode! Of course, they don't expect a full novel. Simply write a 300-500 word plot summary of a hypothetical story involving Marus. You may use characters from the existing books or you may come up with your own characters. Plot summaries will be judged by their creativity, originality, and Biblical integration. Please pay attention to correct grammar usage, though they will make grammatical corrections before publishing the winners' entries.

3. Submit your answers and plot summary by visiting The Ultimate Passages Fan Scavenger Hunt Submission Page.

To celebrate the Adventures in Odyssey Blog first year (the AIO Blog turned 1 year old on July 30th),I thought I should change our logo.I like this one a lot better than the old one.

This latest podcast celebrates the works of Hal Smith and Paul Herlinger.As you've probably heard,Paul Herlinger is now longer going to play Whit because he does not want to cause a sudden interference with the program as did the unexpected passing of Hal Smith in 1994.Anyway,in this podcast,we get introduced to the new voice of Whit,Andre Stojka.Plus,we get to hear another preview of Darien's Rise!Head on over and listen to this very special podcast.
