We've got a really cool interview for you today. It's an interview with the voice of Rodney Rathbone and Mitch, Steve Burns!

We ask him questions about his acting on other things besides AIO, how he got on Odyssey, if he think Connie & Mitch should have gotten married, have him do a conversation between his two characters, and more!

Also, this recording is the first time for us to record with our younger sister, Ashley. She had a lot of fun and so did we! We hope you do, too.

In our last Blogcast, we performed a radio comedy show called Skye Weldon & The Crazy Cactus Caper. We had several of our friends and some people on Odyssey act in it.

Well, when Devon Francis sent in his lines for Limpalong Cassidy, he did different voices for all the other characters as well. We thought it was a lot of fun and thought about releasing the whole thing at some point. But when Devon and his sister started the AIO Oddcast, he asked me if he could release it as one of their episodes and I said "Of course!"

We've interviewed a lot of people on the Blogcast and our YouTube channel. But Tasha & I have never been interviewed together (we have before, but it was never released), on audio or video. Now, Devon & Victoria from the Adventures in Odyssey Oddcast have interviewed us on their podcast!

Some of you, along with our interviewers, came up with some really good questions for us. In the interview, we answer questions about Emily Jones, if the Blogcast will return, who we think Connie should marry, what careers we're looking at going into, and a whole lot more. Of course we get a little crazy and we laugh quite a bit.

We had a lot of fun recording with them. I'm sure you'll enjoy watching it, too.

Today is the day. 5 years ago, a small little blog that hardly anyone knew about was born. It was run and written and run by a younger and amateurish writer named Austin Peachey. Over time, the blog blossomed into a big website with a lot of features and fan interaction. Hopefully, I've become a better writer as well. Even though I have a few other blogs, this one stands out as being the most fun and the most rewarding. I'm overwhelmed by all of your support of the AIO Blog. I am totally blessed by God to be able to do all the things I do through this site. So, on behalf of myself and Tasha, we want to thank you for reading this blog and sharing it with others. You guys are the best!

And, to show our thanks, we're releasing a video of the audio interview we did recently with AIO and Radio Theatre writer, Paul McCusker. We hope you enjoy it!

You remember Devon and Victoria Francis? Of course you do! They were in several episode of the Blogcast with Tasha & I. It's always a blast talking with them. We've told them in the past that they should make their own Odyssey fan podcast. And now, they have!

These funny and creative siblings have started the very first AIO fan all-video podcast on YouTube! It's called the Adventures in Odyssey Oddcast! Why is it called that? Are they even funnier on video? Will die-hard AIO fans love it? We can go ahead and answer the last question with a hearty "yes," but you'll have to see it (the pilot episode) to find out what the podcast is all about. Trust me, you'll thank us.

In the interview, we ask him about how he started writing, his work on Adventures in Odyssey (he wrote all the Mulligan family episodes and played Mike Mulligan), creating McGee & Me, his favorite books, and lots more!

Even though the Blogcast is over, we still want to interview people connected with AIO. Today, we present what we hope to be the first of many audio/video interviews on our YouTube channel: a chat with David Griffin, the voice of Jimmy Barclay!

In the interview, Dave answers questions about his experiences recording for AIO, what other character he'd like to play, and gives some updates on his audio projects: "Bunker 21" and Edwin & the Orbs."

Back in 2008, the Official AIO Podcast showed us a video clip of an Indian version of Odyssey then being produced and filmed. Now, a full episode of that show is up on YouTube. It's based on the episode Rumor Has It. It's in Hindi, but it has English subtitles.

You'll want to make sure you see this. It's really interesting to see how AIO is reaching people in other countries (and languages)!

Recently, I was approached by Ashley & Cindy Green from the HugeAIOFan YouTube channel. They asked if I would like to be interviewed by them. I happily agreed. In the interview, I answer questions about my Odyssey fandom, working on the new Official Guide, and being a part of a missionary family.

No matter how us die-hard fans dislike the video series of AIO, they are still quite popular among younger kids and casual fans. And with the audio albums of Odyssey now all having a consistent look, it makes sense that the videos should be next.

The DVD cases now have the familiar rays and arches, along with the new AIO logo. One thing that's different from before is that both the original 90s shows and the newer 00s shows are being marketed as just one series. Each video will also contain the same bonus features from prior releases.

Look for these products to be making their way to Christian book stores and online stores this spring.

I know pretty much all AIO radio fans really dislike the animated videos of Odyssey released in the 90's and 00's. Recently many fans have been acting out scenes from AIO:live action. And now a dedicated AIO fan has been making 3D animated videos of full episodes. They're quite entertaining. The animation and the voices don't always flow together but it is still really good. Maybe Focus will do this with future videos (if any).
